iPhone 5 Design Images with Larger Edge-to-Edge Screen Leaked

Written by Gradly on . Posted in Apple, blog, Gadgets, News, Rants & Raves, Rumors

We’ve just got claims showing an iPhone mold with a larger display and a thinner bezel, iDealsChina posted several “mold engineering drawings” for the fifth-generation iPhone.

We just got what appears to be mold engineering drawings for iPhone 5. These would be used by case designers to create plastic, TPU, aluminum, silicone and leather cases. A while back we hear rumors that iPhone 5 would have a curved back but these images show iPhone 5 with the same form factor as iPhone 4 but with an edge to edge screen.

Apparentely, The design looks pretty much like an iPhone 4 with the exception of a larger screen which seems to take up a larger portion of the front face. News that we previously heared by reports from Digitimes and the Wall Street Journal,

Macrumers also said that:

Chinese accessory manufacturers clearly get access to early design documents as has been evidenced multiple times. The early iPad 2 cases were indeed accurate representations of the iPad 2. iDealsChina was also the source of a design rendering of the 4th Generation iPod Nano which turned out to be an accurate depiction of the then-unreleased iPod Nano.

Apple’s iPhone 5 will also sport a dual-core A5 processor, according to code in the latest iOS builds, in addition to enhanced voice control and iOS 5. The iPhone 5 is expected to be revealed at WWDC 2011 with a launch date in either June or July.

Killzone 3 Leaked Online

Written by Gradly on . Posted in blog, Games, News

A pre-release version of Sony’s Killzone 3 has reportedly hit torrent sites, just a day after the leak of Crytek’s Crysis 2.

The European version of Killzone 3 has apparently been made available on a handful of P2P sites, and can run on hacked PS3s. There are two files in the wild, one including 3D capability – which weighs in at a bulky 41.4GB – and one without.

Sony will no doubt be working overtime to spot pirates, so it kind of goes without saying that downloading either file is very much not a good idea.

It’s not as if there’s too long to wait for the real deal: The news comes little over a week before Killzone 3’s release date – February 22 in the US and three days later in the UK.

An early developer build of Crytek’s Crysis 2 hit torrent sites yesterday – a full month before the FPS title’s planned release date.

An Actual Crisis: Crysis 2 Leaked Online [Updated]

Written by Gradly on . Posted in blog, Games, News

According to a thread of the Facepunch forums via RPS, a developer build of Crysis 2 containing the full game, multiplayer and the master key for the online authentication has been leaked, and is currently freely available from all sorts of astonishingly illegal websites. This sounds like it might be a serious tragedy for Crytek. Crysis 2 was scheduled for release on the 22nd of March, so the leaked build could be dangerously close to be finished.

Update #1:

The leak also includes the CryEngine 3 Editor. OMG

Update #2:

Publisher EA has issued a statement in response to the gut-wrenching news that Crysis 2 was leaked online nearly five hours ago. The company says it is “deeply disappointed” over today’s events and was keen to point out the PC leak is not representative of the final build, urging fans to wait it out until March 22.

The full statement is after the break.

Crytek has been alerted that an early incomplete, unfinished build of Crysis 2 has appeared on Torrent sites. Crytek and EA are deeply disappointed by the news. We encourage fans to support the game and the development team by waiting and purchasing the final, polished game on March 22. Crysis 2 is still in development and promises to be the ultimate action blockbuster as the series’ signature Nanosuit lets you be the weapon as you defend NYC from an alien invasion. Piracy continues to damage the PC packaged goods market and the PC development community
