There was a man who had four sons. He wanted his sons to learn not to judge things too quickly. So he sent them each on a quest, in turn, to go and look at a pear tree that was a great distance away.

The first son went in the winter, the second in the spring, the third in summer, and the youngest son in the fall. When they had all gone and come back, he called them together to describe what they had seen.

The first son said that the tree was ugly, bent, and twisted.
The second son said no it was covered with green buds and full of promise.
The third son disagreed; he said it was laden with blossoms that smelled so sweet and looked so beautiful, it was the most graceful thing he had ever seen.
The last son disagreed with all of them; he said it was ripe and drooping with fruit, full of life and fulfillment.

The man then explained to his sons that they were all right, because they had each seen but only one season in the tree’s life.

He told them that you cannot judge a tree, or a person, by only one season, and that the essence of who they are and the pleasure, joy, and love that come from that life can only be measured at the end, when all the seasons are up.

If you give up when it’s winter, you will miss the promise of your spring, the beauty of your summer, the fulfillment of your fall.

The Moral of this story:

  • M1– Don’t let the pain of one season destroy the joy of all the rest.
  • M2– Don’t judge life by one difficult season.
  • M3– Persevere through the difficult patches and better times are sure to come some time or later.

  1. Cool wisedome
I think we should think toooooo much before judgment on any thing in our life

    Thank u

  2. yes man, you’re right, people should’nt judge any thing by one view, should’nt judge other people by appearance, and should’nt look at the empty side of the bottle! Life is full of problems and full of cool things as well.

    Enjoy your life 🙂

  3. i think … that this post reflects my feelings about my problems … i know that i should follow the morals you wrote (M1,M2) but … i can’t 🙁 … to me everything is related to everything …

  4. Look man, we make our problems by our hands. you are #1 (most wanted) who is responsible for your problems, don’t blame yourself, don’t blame others (for example: don’t blame me), cuz thats natural 100% (Lays). Try to switch to another season, so you may have a better feeling and be prepared to get rid of all your problems one by one and season by season.
Have a deep and insight think in each step you carry out.

  5. what do you mean “we make our problems by our hands. you are #1 (most wanted) who is responsible for your problems … cuz thats natural 100% (Lays) ” …
thanx for ur help … freind !

  6. Ok man, I’ll clarify more, we all have problems which are either mental (concerning thinking … etc)(also it’s easy to solve) or physical (hard to solve). I know that your problems related to the first category, and as they’re so, you can easily overcome that, here are some hints:

01)- You may stop thinking immediately.
02)- You may switch thinking to anything else.
03)- You may leave your full-of-problems place if that’s easy.
04)- You may face your problems directly and the person(s) involved.
05)- You may ask your family for help.
06)- You may ask your friends for help.
07)- You may do any possible action.
08)- You may go to the nearest well and yell loudly, and free some memory.
09)- You may choose any of the above.
10)- You may subscribe and have more hints using our online service. LOL

I have problems too, I try hard to get them solved even the physical ones.
    Good Luck
